Default Gadzooks! I feel OLD...

I won't bore you with my sordid hitsory, but I'll hit a couple highlights...Lesse here...uh, I remember being completely jazzed about my first game...PONG!

Skipping ahead to my days of banging out BASIC code for a chance to play Defender on the TSR80 ("trash" 80) back in high school...

Ye Olde Nintendo 64...Q-bert and Donky-Kong...

Cranking out quarter after quarter into Joust, Centipede and Bosconian (oh, and Dig Dug)...(circa 1985)

Moving ahaed to the PC...whew!...some favs from the past: Nocturn, Messiah, Omikron: Nomad Soul, FAKK2, American McGee's Alice, Return to Castle Wolfestein, The Unreal series (yeah, all of 'em...I'm guilty...Including Devastation)...LOVED the Morrowind series and look forward to #4, Arx Fatalis (another good RPG), the Half Life franchise (including Counter Strike, which I outgrew in about three weeks..oh, yeah...STEAM SUX), and lastly: Vampire Bloodlines...buggy, but good.

I skipped quite a bit, but those are what I remember as having the greatest appeal for the longest time...I know some aren't that great, but little things about them (like the ability to re-skin characters) made them fun for a while...

I won't dwell on the highly overrated dissapointments that have plagued my past, except to say: DOOM3...*yawns* yeah, played it...whatever

Mostly the halo's and racing/fps games. The occasional CnC game. This is a big move for me since ive never plaed many RPG's and I was trying to get into one. WoW was going to be my last resort until I found GW. Now im on a crusade to get my friends get GW and convince the only one of my WoW friends to play GW. Im going to give him my friends pass for the BWE on the 15.

Recently, I'ts been Neverwinter Nights for me...soooo much replayability

especially after finding http://nwnprc.netgamers.co.uk/ ..adds soo much extra content

Ultima Online. How can you not like a game that has cow tipping? The Renaissance release killed it for me. Split the game into PvP areas (where only huge bands of murders played) and non-PvP areas (Care Bear Land). What fun is mining when you know you can't be jumped by a murderous archer? And what fun is mining when you KNOW you'll be jumped by a murderous archer?

Diablo 2. It's an excellent game if you: 1. Don't cheat and 2. Presume that everyone else in public games DOES cheat. Nothing more fun than letting (hardcore) PKs get close then going to town and laughing at their ineptitude. It's a shame that Blizzard didn't do much more than make laughably empty threats to control cheating.

Never owned a console. Never wanted to.

Well I'll stay out of all the console games because that would just get tedious but in the PC world I have a few titles to put out there.

Back in 2001 or so I was addicted to Utopia mainly just because it was free and my friends played it. Now that I have at least some money to spend I've mainly invested it into Guild Wars and CounterStrike: Source (HL2 as well obviously).

Those two games pretty much fill my online gaming needs mainly because they're both so addictive and fun to play so I don't have time for anything else.

P.S. In CS I go by the name of Scaglietti(Ferrari 612 ) so feel free to hang out and play with me if you ever see me; I'm a hardcore addict to Scoutzknivez so you'll probably find me there almost whenever I'm playing.

Most recently up until a few days before release of GW I have been playing SWG (Star Wars Galaxies).

Had 4 Accounts. With the latest intoiduction of bugs though in what was supposed to fix other bugs jintriduced over the last 2 years I along with two other guilds I was involved with pretty well decided to call it quits and we started up here in GW and we are LOVING every minute of it.

Default Pretty extensive exp. in the pc realm

I started out with a Vic 20 computer. Hook it up to the TV and use cassette tapes instead of disks.

Played a lot of Apple games on the Apple IIE. Including Oregon Trail on the black and green screens, lol.

Finally, into civilized PC times, played Simcity original and a game called Deathtrak. Loved that one.

Betrayal at Krondor, X-wing, X-com, Dune, Quake II, Half-life, CS mod before it was for sale, Quake III, Unreal Tournament, Anarchy Online, GTA, Star Wars Galaxies (for like a year and a half), Half-life 2 (and Counterstrike Source of course ), Matrix Online (not worth my time IMO), and finally Guild Wars.

I still play CS in my off time from GW.

I started on the old Tandy/TRS-80 and CoCo..some of the games--umm rogue
The hobbit
The old zork and the rest of those text only games.

jump into the present and recent past--UO from beta/EQ from Beta/DAOC from beta

Took a 2 year retirement and went back to consoles. GW is my first time back on PC online gaming--works well for me since I now have 4 kids and very little time to game. I think I am done with the 12-36 hour campfest/raids for awhile

Offline, I played some game called neverwinter nights.. is quite good
Now I have played GW, I know there is no going back to the terrible gameplay of games like runescape..
Also c&c generals a lot =)

My dad has his still working commadore 64 in storage. he said in another 50 years it will be worth its weight in gold. (they are heavy too) But as for games, Diablo2 lod is great, Dawn of War WH40k is sweet too great graphics and lots of carnage, Played KOTOR1 and 2 but felt very let down by 2 . Have a xbox and ps2 but the kids get more use out of them.Halo2 is cool on live.
